The series “A Ciência Como Ela É” (“Science as It Is”) from Suplemento Pernambuco magazine, in partnership with Serrapilheira, brings together chronicles and literary essays inspired by scientists from all over Brazil who, from within their daily lives and small great deeds, touch us in the most essential dimensions and affective aspects of our relationship with the world.
The magazine’s partnership with the institute began in 2020 with the “Red Button” series, which published short stories by 12 authors inspired by research carried out at public universities in Brazil. The studies were carried out by scientists also supported by Serrapilheira.
