The research “The state does not get involved, but gold leaves the Amazon through northern Peru” focus on three nature reserves in the Peruvian Amazon, analyzing the impacts of the illegal economy and state failure on local biodiversity loss.
It had the scientific collaboration of Pedro Paulo Souza-Lopes, student of The Training Program in Quantitative Ecology.
