He was part of the Tierra de Resistentes team, which, through collaborative work, was a finalist for the 2021 Gabo Award for a report showing the attacks suffered by indigenous leaders in their own territories.

Addressing the issue of droughts caused by forest fires in the Bolivian Amazon, the report will investigate the impact on water supply in the region.
It had the scientific collaboration of Iago Simões and Maria Luiza Busato, students of The Training Program in Quantitative Ecology.
