The report shows how reduced water flows and changes in the course of the São Francisco River are negatively impacting and threatening a relationship built over generations in the largest river basin located entirely within Brazilian territory.

It had the scientific collaboration of Larissa Rayanny dos Santos and José Daniel Bastos, students of The Training Program in Quantitative Ecology.
