Leandro Amaya Camacho

Journalism

A journalist and columnist, the Peruvian runs the Revista Nube Roja magazine. He was also editor for the Amazon region at Convoca.pe, where he investigated issues related to the Amazon, indigenous rights, illegal economies (traceability, organization, and financing), power structures, oceans, and the environment. In 2020, he received the Young Journalist Award, a global journalism prize awarded by the Thomson Foundation and the Foreign Press Association London (FPA).
