Journalist graduated from the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM) and investigative reporter. She writes about behavior in the peripheries, culture, human rights violations, socio-environmental crimes, the climate crisis in the Amazon, agrarian issues, indigenous peoples, quilombolas, women’s rights, black rights, and the rights of the LGBTQIAPN+ population.

The collapse of trees in Manaus

Using data on urban tree cover, climate history, and studies on heat islands, the research will address how the lack of green areas impacts the quality of life of the population in Manaus amid the climate crisis.

It had the scientific collaboration of Carson Silveira, Luana Costa, Weslley Cunha and Théo Arueira, students of The Training Program in Quantitative Ecology.
