In its fourth season, the podcast “Mexericos na “Maré” (Tidal Dirt) presents “Maretory of the Future,” a five-episode special series that explores issues central to scientific development and the well-being of traditional communities in the Bragança region of Pará.
The series examines issues related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and engages students and the Bragança community in discussions about the future of the Amazon and the climate crisis—central themes of COP 30, which will take place in Belém, Pará, in November 2025. By linking the daily lives of these communities to ongoing scientific research, the series highlights the impact of this research on the forest and its inhabitants.
