Narrando Utopias

Science outreach / Podcast

“Narrando Utopias” (Narrating Utopias) is a podcast about hope, about joining with others to build a future of social justice based on the intersection of the practices (stories, narratives) of social movements or traditional peoples and scientific knowledge. In the first season, we featured rural and indigenous women discussing building a good life in their communities. In the second, women with disabilities shared their stories and journeys to challenge society’s care policies and economics. In the third, black evangelical women talked about the different theological perspectives (feminist, queer, and black) that run through their faith and how they inform their work to build a democratic society. Season 4 featured fathers reflecting on how they challenged traditional notions of masculinity to embrace a more active and loving approach to fatherhood. And now, in season five, we’re discussing agroecology as a way out of the climate crisis.
