The report “When sound becomes a weapon: The invisible impact on the Amazon’s ocean frontier” investigates the human and environmental impacts of oil exploration on local and traditional ecosystems in the Amazon region, on the border between Amapá, French Guiana, Suriname, and British Guiana.

It had the scientific collaboration of Marina Méga, Maria Napolitani and Iago Simões, students of The Training Program in Quantitative Ecology.
