Chemist Murilo Santhiago completed his undergraduate studies at the Federal University of Santa Catarina and pursued his master’s and doctoral degrees in chemistry at the State University of Campinas. During his doctoral studies, he spent time at Colorado State University, where he indulged in his passion for hiking amidst the mountains. He also completed his post-doctoral studies at UNICAMP.
Santhiago specializes in flexible electrical and electrochemical devices and conducts research at the National Nanotechnology Laboratory. Apart from his professional pursuits, he is an avid extreme sports enthusiast, loves BBQ, and soccer, and is always on the lookout for new places to explore. His research is often accompanied by the distorted tunes of 90s punk rock, a soundtrack he swears by for sparking clarity in his ideas.
