Raquel Giordani is a seasoned pharmacist with an extensive career. She completed her undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees in pharmaceutical sciences at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), located in her native region. However, upon completing her post-doctorate fellowship, Raquel accepted a position at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, a location vastly different from her previous home. The transition was challenging, but her dedication to scientific research provided a sense of balance. Her work primarily involves exploring plant physiology, focusing on potential human applications. When she’s not immersed in research, Raquel enjoys cooking pasta and risotto for her husband and daughter, a cherished activity that allows her to connect with her Italian heritage from the southernmost part of the country.
