NAV is a video content production company made up of journalists who have worked for major media outlets and decided to tell other stories. Facts that often go unnoticed by traditional media outlets. Highlighting everyday characters and stories to exemplify trends – both local and global.
Projects
The “Ciência Suja” (Dirty Science) podcast discusses bad examples in science and scientific dissemination to highlight the importance of ethical and responsible science, showing the dangers of incorrect conclusions, biased dissemination and the propagation of scientific myths.
The project was created by audiovisual producer NAV Reportagens, journalists Felipe Barbosa and Pedro Belo, and journalists Thaís Manarini, Theo Ruprecht and Chloé Pinheiro, who specialize in health and science. Carolina Marcelino took over presenting seasons 3 and 4 alongside Theo. In seasons 5 and 6, Theo and journalist Meghie Rodrigues share the microphone. Completing the team is Mirela Lemos, who handles social media and the community.
