Journalist with experience covering environmental issues for media outlets such as El País, Dialogue Earth, Al Jazeera, and Periodistas por el planeta. Her work focuses on telling stories about communities in Latin America and their responses to the triple planetary crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. She is part of the LATAM Network of Young Journalists and the Tejiendo Historias Network.

The resilience of native bees in Peru to deforestation
Science outreach / Journalism

This project will investigate how deforestation and climate change threaten the existence of native stingless bees in Peru and the consequences for pollination and regeneration of local species.

It had the scientific collaboration of Maria Eduarda Alberti, Weslley Cunha, Iago Simões and Luísa Carvalheiro, students of The Training Program in Quantitative Ecology.
