Journalist with experience in hard news journalism and independent audiovisual content production. Rufino works for the online portal g1 Roraima and is an independent communicator at the agency and cultural production company Resistir Produções. She is interested in issues related to climate change, human rights, indigenous peoples, and LGBTQIA+ rights.

Impacts of agribusiness on biodiversity conservation and indigenous communities' ways of life

This project will examine the “island” demarcation model, which allows non-indigenous people to live within indigenous territories, and investigate whether the expansion of agribusiness in these areas can have an impact on both biodiversity conservation and indigenous communities’ ways of life.

It had the scientific collaboration of Barbara Lima Silva and Carson Silveira, students of The Training Program in Quantitative Ecology.
