Professor at the School of Communication, Arts, and Design at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (Famecos/PUCRS). Ph.D. in International Strategic Studies from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), leader of the Research Group on International Relations and the Environment (GERIMA/UFRGS), and member of the Research Group on Indigenous Peoples and Global Politics (PUC-Rio). Editor of the Sunday edition (+Domingo) of the newspaper Correio do Povo, in Porto Alegre (RS).
