Virgínia Carvalho, a pharmacist and assistant professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, embarked on her academic journey at the University of Guarulhos. She furthered her education at the University of São Paulo, earning a master’s degree, doctorate, and post-doctorate in toxicology and toxicological analysis.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Virgínia’s contributions extend beyond the classroom. She coordinates the FarmaCannabis project, which provides medications to patients undergoing cannabis treatment.
When she steps away from her professional duties, Virgínia devotes her time to her son Victor and her cat Serena.
