The Brazilian Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (BPBES) was founded in November 2015 with the mission of producing comprehensive syntheses of the best available knowledge on biodiversity and ecosystem services. These syntheses aim to support the formulation and improvement of public policies and the prioritization of investments by public and/or private institutions aimed at filling knowledge gaps. Based on the new diagnoses, the initiative’s priorities for 2023 are:
- Brazilian Marine and Coastal Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services Diagnosis
- Thematic Report on Agriculture, Livestock, Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services
- Thematic Report on Invasive Species, Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services in Brazil
