Ambiental Media is a Brazilian scientific journalism startup led by journalist Thiago Medaglia. With a multidisciplinary team, productions include data visualization and infographics; journalistic stories and articles; reports, analyses and policy briefs; videos for social media; documentary photography; and science-based journalistic investigations.

In 2021, Ambiental Media investigated which locations in the Amazon River Basin have suffered the most significant impacts from human activity. The Aquazônia project released analyses plotted on unpublished maps, which, combined with journalistic investigation and fieldwork, culminated in the publishing of a special multimedia platform.
