Anderson de Oliveira Lobo

Chemistry, Engineering

Biomedical engineer Anderson de Oliveira Lobo earned his doctorate in science from the Brazilian Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA). He completed his post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Anderson is currently engaged in pioneering research on the synthesis and application of biomaterials and biological platforms for disease treatment. His research team is working on the development of materials for cartilage tissue therapy, with the goal of creating a product that can regenerate cartilage cells. In addition to his research, he serves as the editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Nanomedicine and Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology. A devoted Corinthians soccer team fan, Anderson enjoys gathering his friends for a game, often accompanied by a barbecue. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing.
