Paulo Teixeira, a biologist, holds a Ph.D. in genetics and molecular biology from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). During his doctoral studies, he spent a sandwich fellowship at the University of North Carolina in the United States, where he later carried out a post-doctoral fellowship. His scientific research is primarily focused on the resistance of plants to pathogens. A regular podcast listener, Paulo enjoys socializing with friends over board games. Recently, he and his partner have been exploring the intricate world of healthy cake recipes in their spare time.
