Considering the colonizing history of archaeology and human evolution knowledge and the racial and gender stereotypes associated with the image of scientists in Brazil, the project “Evolução para Todes – Compartilhando a Ciência do LAAAE-USP” (“Evolution for All – Sharing Science done at LAAAE-USP” seeks to qualify the scientific outreach content in the area. Through the production of content such as mini-documentaries, texts and animations that are widely disseminated and freely accessible on the internet, the laboratory wants to expand decolonizing narratives and build new dialogues – especially with black people, to think about racial inclusion in scientific outreach.
