Laboratógio de Geojornalismo (Geojournalism Laboratory) is an initiative of the InfoAmazonia Association that will encourage journalists to use geoscience data – in formats accessible to the general public. The objective is to spread the language of data visualization in interactive maps and graphs. The laboratory promoted a training program for reporters and editors from the InfoAmazonia collaborator network in alliance with researchers from federal universities. After creating these foundations, journalists and scientists produced visualizations and interactive maps in 10 special reports to be published on the InfoAmazonia website.
