According to a 2020 survey by MindMiners and Avaaz, 70% of Brazilians seek information about the coronavirus one or more times a day. But how to sort out what is fact and what is not? The national network of volunteer researchers to combat COVID-19, comprised of 84 researchers from various areas of knowledge, aims to expand and encourage the dissemination of scientific studies on the disease and combat the spread of fake news.
