Pluralizar Project

Science / Diversity in Science

The Pluralizar Program aims to encourage and stimulate students who enter higher education through affirmative action policies to participate in research projects in a variety of fields. These policies have opened the doors of higher education to underrepresented social groups in universities for almost two decades. However, little has been done to ensure that these students can participate in all the opportunities that Brazilian universities have to offer, such as cutting-edge research.

The Pluralizar Program provides research grants and undergraduate and graduate scholarships to students from underrepresented groups in fields with an identified lack of diversity.
